What is it?
On the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month from 8am – 9am people of Olympia that care about downtown meet at the MIXX 96 conference room on Washington Street next to einmaleins to share, discuss and envision downtown. Check here for the next event.

When and how did it start?
Development can sometimes stir up the community and entrench the pro and con camps beyond repair. During isthmus-gate our community felt like at war and we needed to bring people to the same table to look into each others eyes, share the things we have in common rather than divide us.

What are we doing?
Some call us share or stake holders. All of us are citizens of Olympia and we all care about downtown, love this place on earth and want the best for it.
We belong to different groups. Neighborhood Associations, Business owners, advocacy groups. We share information on what each group is working on. We discuss news, events and current affairs and we live in a downtown of the present and envision a downtown of the future.

Where are we going?
Change is the most constant in our lives and we can choose to let wash over us and be changed by it, or we can take the rudder into our hands and define change, be part of change and make change happen.
Downtown Olympia is going to change and we care enough to want to be a part of this.

Can I come?
Of course. Swing by the meeting, learn, get to know and be a voice for Downtown Olympia.  Contact Mathias Eichler at einmaleins for more information and if you have any questions.
