Connect with your neighbors, your customers, and celebrate downtown Olympia. All your favorite shops, galleries and restaurants in downtown Olympia have their doors open late, every First Friday of the month. The events start at 5pm and run until about 9pm or later!

History of First Friday
The events started in December of 2007 after business owners Mathias and Trixy Eichler (einmaleins) started a marketing campaign for their own downtown business that focused on events and community connection.

It quickly became a larger platform for all businesses and organizations in downtown Olympia to open their doors and welcome the community to taste what downtown has to offer. It received tremendous response from the community and more and more businesses participating every month.

The event is sponsored by the Mixx 96, Caret Marketing and einmaleins.
