Just walked by the formerly “Audio Northwest” store front next to Bayside Quilting across from Old School Pizza on Franklin St. and read on the posted sign that come March 1st we will have a new garden supply store in downtown. Garden Gnome might be the name, if I remember correctly. Inside it still looks pretty bare, but the first shelves are being put up and some deliveries arrived already.

This is great news for State Avenue, which is in a way the gateway into downtown and has still lots of opportunity. Thanks to the new parking lot and new business owners taking chances this might change.
