towerAbensberg, Germany is another example of a town whose trying to attract, invite, and inspire people. A brewery in this small town invited an world famous architect to build a structure in hope of attracting visitors and tourists from all over the world…

After years of building and many complications, the tower is scheduled to open this month, and the city is very much looking forward to the potential of how an attraction like this could be an economic stimulus for the whole region.  What do you think could be Olympia’s economic magnet?

I love the fantastic yet real vision here.

Almost like living in the day after tomorrow, but certainly a novel approach, and yet I can see vertical lofts in Olympia working from the same basic concept. Perhaps a fun alternative for an international hostel in the downtown core? Small footprint, fun shape, high occupancy, temporary habitat.
  • I think we already have the magnet in our waterfront & historic buildings. We just need to take advantage of them.

It looks like a modern mosque with minarette by Hundertwasser.
