Turn winter blues into reds and whites with Bayview School of Cooking’s (BSC) Fridays Uncorked series. Only $12 an evening, this social event offers casual and informative comparative wine tastings. Ongoing pourings and presentations allow you to sample a number of wines and complementary cheeses anytime between 5 – 7:30 p.m. ((See more for schedule!))

January 8th – Affordable Wine under $12
Shhhh…it’s under wraps…guess the cost! Try some winter table wine that will surprise the palate and the purse.

January 22nd – Rioja: Spain’s Greatest Wine Region
Selected varietals/blends including tempranillo, Espana’s answer to “pinot noir.”

February 12th – Domestic Sparkling Wines
United States bottled effervescence in blush, white and red.

February 26th – International Intrigue
Unsuspicious wines from all over the world are making a splash in the wine scene.

No reservations are required and drop-ins are welcome. Fridays Uncorked is held in the BSC demo kitchen on the second floor of Bayview Thriftway, 516 West 4thAvenue in downtown Olympia.
