This is a much better vision of what makes a healthy city than I have seen in a very long time. In my life and travels I have seen other places, other ways. If you can go in the directions you have outlined here, this will be a very nice place to be.

We have two main arteries of traffic to downtown from the East (4th and State) and from one the West. At 5pm, these routes have considerable traffic, not unbearable, but enough to realize that this condition is only going to get worse.

I think Oly2012 may want to re-evaluate it's priorities and think about “encouraging” a better public transit plan. How about more bike racks? A majority of times I can park my car faster than I can park my bike.
