Greening the Plumbing Workshop – June 30th
Do you wait impatiently in the morning for your hot water to get to your shower or sink? Do you ever wonder how much energy (and money) is literally going down the drain as you wait?
Hot water is the first or second largest user of energy in our homes. Learn how to get convenience while saving energy and water (not to mention $) at the Greening the Plumbing: Technology for Efficient Residential Water Distribution workshop hosted by EverGreen Depot and the Northwest Ecobuilding Guild. Gary Klein will evaluate the performance of hot water distribution systems in terms of water, energy and time and demonstrate how to deliver hot water to every fixture wasting no more than one cup waiting for the hot water to arrive. He will show how to apply these principles to both retrofit and new construction.
