Christmas Tree Recycling: Residential customers can get their Christmas trees recycled free of charge by following these easy steps:

1. Prepare your tree.
Remove all tinsel, ornaments and stands
No twine
No trees over 6 feet (Hint: Cut in half)

2. Find your pick-up day.
Saturday, January 10, if your garbage day is Thursday or Friday
Saturday, January 17, if your garbage day is Tuesday or Wednesday

3. Put your tree out by 6:00 a.m. in your regular pick-up spot.

Missed your day? Take it to the Thurston County Waste and Recovery Center (formerly known as the Hawks Prairie Landfill), 2718 Hogum Bay Road, Lacey
